HISTORY

TERENZI SRL has designed two stainless Steel injection molds for the construction of the control box of a product aimed at the thermoregulation of the environment.
To manifacture the Radialight by ERMETE GIUDICI S.P.A object, TERENZI adopted innovative Demoholding systems in the molds compared to the previous ones used.
The production is carried out on an injection press paying particular attention to the thermoregulation of the mould, a crucial factor in order to obtain maximum performance.
It is a technical article made in Nylon for a convector heater; the specific piece realized is the housing for the electronics: this means that inside it there will be the radiator control circuits and the wi-fi connection devices. An object therefore created specifically to be inserted in a radiator.

FEATURES

The previously mentioned system allows the extraction of the Nylon piece without deforming its geometry; since it is a specialized article, the technologies have an essential value. Specifically, it is important that the piece maintains its dimensional characteristics unaltered, and this is because the electronic parts that are to be inserted into the article have very restrictive dimensions and tolerances. In addition, the product must meet certain standards for electronic safety and related to water and heat resistance. The whole is intended for a vertical towel warmer radiator.

THE TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS

The mold was designed using the most innovative 3D modeling software, specially created in the thermoplastic injection type. The steels used are of the highest quality and the heat treatments carried out are, like the materials, certified and traceable. The manufacturing techniques are milling and electro-erosion. In this, the intervention of the operator should not be underestimated, since from the design to the final development they are entrusted to the decennial experience and competence of the toolmakers. The technology used is submarine injection and the layout of the mold is of the "1+1" type, i.e. aimed at creating two "imprints", two different shapes. Then there is a control panel, an external part that can be applied to the product, in polycarbonate: it is also produced with a stainless Steel mold; in this case, however, the mold has 2 impressions.
